Asana Setup

Introduction

The Peoplelogic.ai Asana integration allows you to authorize Peoplelogic to aggregate events from your Asana projects.  See What Events Does Peoplelogic.ai Process from Asana for more information on the events that Peoplelogic.ai aggregates.

Prerequisites

You must have admin access to your Peoplelogic.ai account.  If you don't, point your administrator to this page to have them set up the integration.

The Asana integration will match users in Asana to your employees by email  If the email in Asana is not the email you entered into Peoplelogic, you'll need to add a mapping on the employee profile in Peoplelogic.ai.  See Mapping External Usernames to Employees for more information.

Configuration

Now it's time to set up Peoplelogic.ai.  First, click the + icon near the top right of the Peoplelogic.ai interface and then click Add Integration.

Next, find Asana and click Connect to Asana:

Next, you'll be taken to Asana to authorize the connection between Peoplelogic.ai and Asana.  Select your account and then you'll screen like the one below:

Please note that Asana's permissions do not allow a read-only application.  Peoplelogic does not make changes your your projects or tasks.

Click the blue Allow button to complete the process and it should take you back to the screen showing your integration listed among the active integrations.

Testing

Peoplelogic.ai will start to aggregate the events as soon as the connection is established and you should see events showing in the main dashboard timeline.  If you don't see any events and you know there has been activity in your accessible Asana accounts, please contact Peoplelogic.ai Support.
