Close CRM Setup

Introduction



The Peoplelogic.ai Close CRM integration allows you to use API Keys from Close CRM to aggregate events from your sales team.  See What Events Does Peoplelogic.ai Process from Close CRM for more information on the events that Peoplelogic.ai aggregates.

Prerequisites



You must have admin access to your Peoplelogic.ai account.  If you don't, point your administrator to this page to have them set up the integration.


You must generate an API Key for the organization that you want Peoplelogic.ai to have access to.  To generate a Close CRM API Key visit t[https://app.close.com/settings/api/](https://app.close.com/settings/api/).



Click the green button to generate the API Key and copy that key to a safe place - you won't be able to access it again.

Configuration



Once you have your Close CRM API Key, it's time to set up Peoplelogic.ai.  First, click the + icon near the top right of the Peoplelogic.ai interface and then click Add Integration.



Next, scroll down till you find the Close.io widget and then click on Connect to Close.io:



Next, you'll be shown a form to enter the details about your integration.  Follow the steps below to complete the setup.

Enter a meaningful and unique name
Enter your Close CRM API Key into the API Key field.

When done, you should have something that looks like the following:



Click the green Save to complete the process and it should take you back to the screen showing your integration listed among the active integrations.



Testing



Peoplelogic.ai will start to aggregate the events immediately and you should see events showing in the main dashboard timeline.  If you don't see any events and you know there has been activity in your accessible Close CRM organizations, please contact Peoplelogic.ai Support.
